Ophelious AI Academy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that the future of artificial intelligence and digital innovation is accessible to everyone not just those with privilege, resources, or technology backgrounds.
We exist to bridge the growing digital opportunity gap by bringing AI education and digital skills directly to underserved communities, including individuals experiencing homelessness, people in rehabilitation centers, African and minority communities, people in shelters, and individuals facing barriers to education and employment.
As artificial intelligence rapidly transforms industries and daily life, millions of people risk being left behind not because they lack potential, but because they lack access, awareness, guidance, and opportunity. Many of these individuals may never actively seek AI opportunities because they are focused on survival, recovery, or overcoming life challenges. We believe opportunity should not wait for people to find it; opportunity should reach people where they are.
That is why Ophelious AI Academy goes beyond traditional education. We actively engage communities, identify individuals who can benefit from technology education, introduce them to emerging AI opportunities, recommend practical digital career pathways, assist with enrollment, provide mentorship, and guide learners throughout their educational journey.

Homeless & Shelter Communities
We support individuals experiencing homelessness and those living in shelters by providing AI literacy and digital skills training. Our programs help participants build confidence, develop workforce skills, and access new opportunities for long-term stability and success.
Rehabilitation & Recovery Centers
We support individuals in rehabilitation and recovery programs, including those overcoming substance use and drug addiction, by providing practical AI and digital skills training that creates pathways to employment, personal growth, and long-term stability.
Our goal is not only to teach digital and AI skills but also to empower individuals with purpose, hope, and the tools needed to achieve lasting independence. By helping participants gain meaningful skills and career opportunities, we aim to reduce the risk of relapse, strengthen self-sufficiency, and support their journey toward a healthier and more productive life.

Ophillus Otchere is the Founder and Executive Director of Ophelious AI Academy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through AI and digital skills education. With his academic backgrounds in Finance, Generative AI, and Data Analytics, he is passionate about using technology, education, and innovation to create opportunities and transform lives.
Driven by a lifelong commitment to community development and human empowerment, Ophillus founded Ophelious AI Academy to bridge the digital divide and help individuals gain the skills needed for employment, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. His vision is to ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age by providing accessible, practical, and career-focused technology education.
